AONIA appointed to manage Social Development Network experiential marketing event
The Social Development Network (SDN) has appointed AONIA to manage one of its key annual events to encourage social interaction amongst single Singaporean professionals. This event will be held in partnership with the award-winning Singapore Zoological Gardens on 31 October 2010, in tandem with their Halloween night celebrations. The event aims to further the SDN’s objectives of building relationships amongst single Singaporeans who are looking to grow their social network or who are searching for their life partner.
About the Social Development Network (SDN)
The Social Development Unit (SDU) was formed in 1984 to promote marriages among graduate singles, while the Social Development Services (SDS) was set up in 1985 to promote marriages among non-graduate singles. The two units were merged on 28 January 2009 to reap economies of scale, enlarge the outreach, and provide more opportunities for singles to meet. On 16 October 2009, the unit was renamed Social Development Network (SDN). This new name reflects the organisation’s aim to forge an extensive network of singles, resources and partners and to create an environment conducive for singles to meet and forge meaningful relationships.
